We are able to create ‘members-only’ sections of the website to communicate specific information to members. This was very important in terms of highlighting member benefits and efficiently communicating those specific discount codes.

Having enabled emails through membee it is a breeze to email members around different things from event registrations to individual emails. Saves time of having to export email addresses into outlook or Constant Contact.

The new features relating to events are very interesting. I like the amount of customization available, so we can set up event sales just right.

The ability for members to manage their own profiles and stay up to date on their financial contributions to the organization is tremendous.

The membership portal where we can manage events is a tremendous feature we plan to capitalize on.

When we were reviewing potential solutions, support and implementation were a big concern. Because we are a volunteer-based organization like many other organizations like ours, our leaderships schedule is challenging. We were extremely concerned about implementation and the learning curve to adopt the system and maximize the use of the features to justify the cost but we quickly realized we chose the right platform. The Truck Loggers Association Membership: 440

In using Membee, we are able to better communicate with our Members, provide much more accurate information, allow them to register for events and pay their Membership dues & sponsorship payments all online, in turn, keeping a good tracking record for our files, and in their personal profiles. Our Members soon will be able to access/update their own company & personal profile information, as well as access client/potential client information, which has been a draw to join for some of our new Members. Having the ability to review and approve the changes made by our members, allows us to maintain a clean database, while saving us time by not having to update each change ourselves, which is the current procedure we are in the process of moving away from.

Having the ability to effectively share our membership list with current members, create fast and accurate mailing addresses for our magazine subscription list and reports for membership billing, events and many other inquiries from our Members, has been a huge time saver, and in turn, cost savings & efficiency from using Membee thus far.

We have had a fantastic experience over the past year of being a Membee client, in regards to training sessions with staff, and any day-to-day inquiries that have come up. The training sessions we have purchased have been very interesting and clear from our instructor, and we have walked away from each session having the confidence to put what we just learned, into action. Sustain Ontario Membership: 300

We want our members to be able to have a public space on our website that they can edit and use to connect with fellow members and supporters as well as the community at large. The Membee directories and profiles provide that venue. It is especially valuable that the directory is searchable by areas of expertise as well as location and other parameters. We are currently in the process of re-populating our Membership system in Membee by having our Members renew. In the future, it will be easier for Members to register for events such as our forums and biennial conference by having their organizational information already in the system.

It is a significant time saver to have members edit their own profiles and update contact information. We look forward to using the group and committee functions to manage and connect with our many working groups. It is also helpful that we can have our members as well as supporters, collaborators, funders, and service providers in the same database to create bridges and follow up on interactions more efficiently.

Membee staffers are very attentive, patient, and informative while we were comparing different management systems to find the best fit for our needs. This positive impression during initial stages has been kept alive and well thanks to the quick, thorough step-by-step support provided by the Membee team as our staff and members learn more about the Membee system. The training webinars were a helpful first step to gauge if we had enough internal capacity to set up the system. However, it has been the step-by-step guides that have been most helpful. I’ve also been impressed that the support team edits these guides on their own accord, based on questions from clients such as us. This commitment to tailoring and improving the system for clients is a very appreciated service.

Membee has provided us with many opportunities we are able to pass along to our members. The enhanced online directory listings and the ability to register online for upcoming events are perhaps two of the most commonly used features on our website. The enhanced listings offer members an opportunity to powerfully promote their business and the easy online event registration is a real time saver, which every member can appreciate!

We used to update member information in several different programs, which was a huge time waste and also created the potential for a lot of user errors. By using Membee and tying it into our website, we are able to more easily and accurately update member information which has been a great value to our organization.

Any time we have an issue or question, we first use the Help Center and then if we can’t figure it out on our own, we contact Membee. Working for a small non-profit usually requires wearing many hats. Online event registrations have freed up a great deal of my time to focus on other projects and give our members more personalized attention.

If I can’t find the step-by-step instructions in “Help from the Hive” I can submit a request via email and hear back within 3 or 4 hours (typically I get a response within an hour or two). One of the programs we offer is a Young Professionals group. With 185 members in the YP group, managing their data, membership fee and making sure we can communicate with the easily was a definate need. Membee has made that easy.

Through the use of recurring events, we are able to easily bill their membership fee each year without having to re-enter all of the information year after year. Membee’s integration with Mailchimp makes email list management easier for our regular large blast emails to our membership and the larger the industry.

Member access to their member info has been a big value. Members are now able to upload project photos and logos in our online directory. I also love the event calendar as a one-stop-shop for upcoming events and payments.

The whole database has saved us time. We don’t have to enter information into multiple areas anymore. We enter membership info once and it’s automatically updated on our website. The e-billing has saved us a ton of time during the annual renewal process – we’ve had many more renewals paid ahead of the deadline than we’ve ever seen in the past. And it didn’t take up our admin time to process the payments!
